Our approach to candidate assessment
Household staff occupy a position of significant trust. They are present in the home, often when the family is not. They have access to property, to routines, and in many cases to children and elderly relatives.
We take that seriously.
Before any introduction is made, candidates are assessed on both professional suitability and personal compatibility. This means a thorough review of employment history, direct conversation with previous principals or referees, and an honest assessment of whether the individual is likely to work well within the specific dynamics of the household.
We do not introduce candidates we would not personally recommend. If we have reservations, we say so.
After placement
Our involvement does not end when a placement is made.
We remain available in the period following an appointment to assist with onboarding, to help the household and the new member of staff settle into a productive working relationship, and to address any early questions or adjustments.
For clients who retain SilverBridge for household support, this continuity is built in as a matter of course.
